Terms and Refund Policy

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the WING website or take part in WING, a programme run by YouthxYouth Abeokuta Hub. By applying or paying, you agree to them. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use your information.

2. Who can take part

WING is open to people aged 16 and above. If you are under 18, we may ask for your parent or guardian's consent before you join.

3. Programmes and dates

Community Mentorship is free and runs in fixed cohorts with limited spots. Guided Growth, Career Accelerator and Career Launch are paid tiers, reviewed on a rolling basis, and begin as soon as you are paired with a mentor. Dates, schedules and structure are tentative and may change to suit mentees' needs. We will tell you if something changes.

4. Applications

Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. We review applications within about 3 working days and may decline an application, for example if spots are full.

5. Payments

Prices are in Nigerian naira. For paid tiers, you pay only after your application has been reviewed and accepted. We will send you payment instructions by email from abeokuta@youthxyouth.com. Please do not pay anyone else or through any other channel, and contact us if you are unsure whether a request is genuine.

6. Mentors and what to expect

Mentors are volunteers and professionals who give their time, and their views are their own. WING supports you with guidance, introductions and practical help, but we do not guarantee any internship, job, scholarship or other result.

7. Certificates

Participants who complete the programme may receive a WING certificate. The optional certification fee for Community Mentorship is ₦10,000, paid at the end of the programme.

8. Your conduct

Please treat mentors, mentees and staff respectfully, and join sessions and complete tasks honestly. We may remove anyone who is abusive, dishonest or disruptive.

9. Our content

The WING name, logo, materials and website content belong to YouthxYouth Abeokuta Hub or its partners. Please do not copy or reuse them without permission.

10. Liability

We run WING with care, but to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that result from using the site or taking part in the programme, other than those we cannot legally exclude.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms, and the date above shows the latest version. They are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Refund Policy

Community Mentorship

There is nothing to refund, because it is free. The optional ₦10,000 certification fee is non-refundable once your certificate is issued. If we do not issue it, we will refund the fee.

Paid tiers (Guided Growth, Career Accelerator, Career Launch)

• Before you are paired with a mentor: you can ask for a refund at any time.
• After you are paired with a mentor: sessions already delivered are not refundable. If we cannot provide the service you paid for, for example if we cannot keep your mentor match or the programme is cancelled, we will refund the unused part of your payment.

1:1 career sessions

• Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the session for a refund or a free reschedule.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and missed sessions are not refundable.
• If we cancel or cannot offer you a suitable slot, you can choose a new time or get a refund.

How to ask for a refund

Email abeokuta@youthxyouth.com with your name, the tier or session, and your payment reference. We will reply within 3 working days. Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method, normally within 7 to 10 working days. Refunds may attract deductions for transaction or payment-processing charges incurred during the payment and refund process, which we cannot recover. We will tell you the exact amount before we process your refund.
